As you can see Jeremiah has perfected the donut eating technique. He eats all the sprinkles, then frosting and then the actual donut part last. I think it is pretty apparent that Jeremiah is enjoying his donut.
After having a delicious and not so nutritious breakfast we went to Jeremiah's favorite two places, the Japanese garden and the Zoo. He could probably go to both places everyday and not get bored. It was also amazing to see how much Annalise has changed since the last time we went to the zoo. This time she was all about the animals, especially the flamingos. It was great seeing her get excited along with her brother.

One day we will get the whole family looking at the camera at the same time.
Grammy and Jeremiah.
After a full day we came home and celebrated with a cupcake and presents from family.
The next day was party day and Jeremiah was excited all day long.

As you can see he was pretty excited.

Jeremiah wanted a Cars cake so we went to the bakery and ordered one. He had ordered chocolate but we ended up with a white cake layered with strawberry on one side and pineapple on the other. A phone call to the bakery and we are getting a free chocolate cake this Saturday and I am surmising that the people who ordered a half pineapple and half strawberry cake will get one as well.

Jeremiah and mom cutting the cake with a little help from his friend Ethan.
Jeremiah had a few friends over and after some pizza we had a birthday egg hunt in our backyard. The kids had fun finding the eggs filled with candy. Then we had a pinata hitting contest. After letting the kids take a few hits we finally had to let the dads do the real hitting to break the pinata. Some of the dads seemed to be a little more excited about the candy then the kids!

Eating pizza, Jeremiah's favorite is pineapple pizza.
Picking up the candy.
After that Jeremiah opened his presents. Gone are the days of being interested more in the wrapping paper. He is definitely a little boy now with a love for legos, and superheroes, and thankfully, he still LOVES books.
