June was busy with getting ready for our move to Ohio. Brian participated with a few friends in a relay half marathon. We even managed to squeeze in a road trip to Fredericksburg, TX. We stopped at a local farm for peach picking and also visited the Pacific War Museum. Jeremiah and Annalise had a lot of fun despite the Texas heat.
In June we also took a trip back to WA where we will able to visit with family. Jeremiah and Annalise had a great time hanging out with their cousin Liam at the beach. They also were able to meet one of their Korean cousins and my aunt.
We returned to San Antonio in July and pretty much packed up our stuff and drove 4 days north to arrive in Ohio. The kids were great on the drive and despite having to replace a car window in Oklahoma, the trip was a breeze.
Jeremiah is slowly moving away from the pirate phase and now is into Star Wars. The move was tough on him, mainly he misses his friends. He has a few friends here now and gets so excited when he makes a new friend. Interestingly enough, our neighbors kids have pretty much the same name as Jeremiah and Annalise. I am sure that one day all the kids will be outside and one of us will shout Jeremiah and both will come running.
Annalise has grown so much in the past two months. She is potty trained, loves markers, loves taking apart J's lego people, and is always making sure that things are fair. If I give her a snack she always makes sure I make one for Jeremiah even if he does not want one. She is definitely one tough cookie.
Well I have lots of pictures to post and I promise the next update will be a lot sooner.
Brian running the second leg of the relay
Sitting outside one of the local shops in Fredericksburg. Annalise was not too happy about how hot it was.
Jeremiah and Annalise with their cousin Liam at Northwest Trek
Jeremiah and Liam testing out the beach
Brian's dad (aka Papoo) trying to get 3 kids to look at the camera at the same time for a picture
Jeremiah and Annalise's first sand castle attempt. I must say they did a great job building a moat.
A trip to great wolf lodge with Halmoni and Poppa (Catrina's parents) This is where we learned Annalise is not afraid of the water and is quite content swimming in the wave pool without anyone holding her. It is definitely a fun family place.
Annalise going down the slide with Chan Wook, their cousin from Korea. It was a little chilly but the spray park and playground combination was a lot of fun.
Our last night in Washington.
