4 months and laughing it up

I cannot believe Annalise will be 4 months tomorrow morning. Where does the time go? Today was her 4 month appointment and here are the stats: 18 lbs 3 ozs, 24.5 inches and 100% healthy. She definitely did not weigh as much as Jeremiah but still chubby. Okay so I have come up with a theory about breast milk. I think some people make skim and some people make whole and that is why some babies are trim and some run a bit heavier.

Anna has been working hard on trying to roll over but it isnt as easy when you have a little more to roll. On Sunday she rolled from her tummy to back 2 times. We tried to catch it on video but once the camera came out she stopped. (OF COURSE!!) Today, Jeremiah jumped in the air and landed on his bottom and she laughed. He did it again and she laughed again. This went on for about five minutes and then it dawned on me to get the camera. So fortunately, I got him and jumping and her laughing but her amusement was starting to wear out.

I think her laugh is the cutest. Its kind of like she just doesn't know what to make of Jeremiah. He thought it was great that she was laughing at him, but I am sure his bottom is a little sore.

Its so hard not to compare kids. I often find myself thinking Jeremiah did this at 4 months and Anna's not doing that yet but I have to remember that everything happens differently with each child. I am just glad that she is healthy. Its amazing how your love grows with each child.
