Beaches,Baseball, and Family

For a part of April and most of May the kids and I spent time in Washington seeing family and friends. It was a great trip. Jeremiah and his cousin Liam had a lot of fun together. Liam would follow any directions his big cousin Jeremiah gave him and of course J enjoyed being the boss. Annalise grew leaps and bounds. She started walking and seems to pick up a new word everyday. I love how she points to the sky and says "Air Plane" with a long pause in the middle of the word. She has also become our little Miss Fearless. She will climb anything, and consistently has bruises on her forehead. I am always worried about her because she has no sense of fear. I am sure there will be more blogs about her lack of fear and pain.

Jeremiah really enjoyed going to the beach and probably would have gone everyday all day if I had let him. Brian was still gone on his TDY the first time we went to the beach and that night on the phone Jeremiah told him "Dad, when you come here, I will take you to the beach," as if Brian couldnt go by himself. Here are some pics from the last time we went to the beach. The tide was at -3.8 which was the lowest for the year until Dec 09 so we were able to see a lot that you would not normally see.

Annalise had a great time playing in the sand/rocks. Lets just say she was a real mess by the time we left, sand in her mouth, hair, nails, etc...

Besides the beach we took the kids to their first Tacoma Rainiers game. Jeremiah has been to a few games with his dad but this was Anna's first and she did quite well. I am not sure she knew what to make of the Moose mascot. I think she thought it was a really large dog. Jeremiah was able to run the bases and of course wanted to do it again once he was done.

I must admit I like Jeremiahs smile here a lot more since his eyes are not squished together.

We were also able to celebrate Great Grandma Fusa's 75th birthday a bit early with a part of Brian's family. Since many of us live faraway it was nice to have a get together where everyone could see each other.

We were sad to leave Washington after being able to spend so much time with family and friends.
