All I want for Christmas are Anna's two front teeth!

Well December definitely started off with a bang! Annalise has proven that she can not only climb like the best of them but she can fall amazingly well and cause her parents much panic, especially her mom. At the start of this month, Annalise managed to chip large pieces of her two front teeth while trying to sit at a plastic table in the toy room. Thankfully we have friends who work in the dental field and the very next morning Annalise had her first half fake teeth. They are only temporary until she is older and can sit still long enough to receive a permanent fill.

Christmas has to be Jeremiah's favorite holiday, and Annalise copies everything her brother does. If Jeremiah tells anyone Merry Christmas, then of course Annalise says Merry Christmas too. Both children love driving around the neighborhood at night to look at the Christmas lights and decorations that have been put up. This year is the first year that Jeremiah has stated explicitly what he wanted Santa to bring him. He would even tell people Santa is going to bring me a Lego Pirate ship and a Dragon Castle, and he is going to bring my sister a baby doll.

Catrina's parents were able to come out this Christmas and arrived on the 24th. Here are pictures from Christmas and their time here.

Jeremiah with his beloved Lego pirate ship. He has wanted this ship for almost a year. He sure does love his Legos. I would say that there must be an architect or builder in him.

Annalise working on opening one of her presents.

Annalise holding her babydoll from Target. It was one of her stocking stuffers and now spends every night with her in her crib.

Jeremiah Christmas morning.

Annalise a little worn out. She did wake up a bit early.

Jeremiah watching daddy open a present. Amazingly he was very patient and made sure everyone took turns opening presents. Brian and I actually bought a new camera as our Christmas gift this year and the pictures you are looking at were taken with it. Hopefully the pictures will get better as we get used to all the new options and features.

Halmoni and Poppa and the kids before Christmas dinner. Jeremiah is holding his half built Lego Pirate ship. He had Poppa playing pirates and dragons all day long. I think Poppa was worn out by the time he left Texas.

Annalise looking innocent even though we know she is about to cause a little bit of mischief.

We went to Seaworld and met some friends from the Academy who are now in Austin. One of their sons wanted to be in the picture. He was really fond of Halmoni.

Jeremiah playing with his Christmas gifts. I must thank Imaginext for making toys that Jeremiah plays with all day long and never gets tired of.

Other BIG news for the month of December, is that Brian passed his Professional Engineers exam. After months and months of studying and months of waiting for his results, we received an email from the state of WA confirming that he is now a licensed Professional Environmental Engineer. This was probably the best Christmas gift.

We are looking forward to 2010.
