Hello Winter!

November went by fairly quickly for us. My dad came to visit for a few days and we were able to celebrate his birthday together. Then we went on a family vacation to Charleston, SC. Brian was in Savannah for a work trip and we met up with him and then stayed a few days with our friends the Fishers.

The klds experienced their first snow here. I think when you are young you are ignorant to how cold it really is. The kids were covered in snow but wanted to stay our for as long as possible. The neighbors came over and we engaged in a snowball fight, or should I say that five kids decided it would be funny to get me with snowballs.

Annalise is becoming quite the character. She likes to ask random people what there name is and the precedes to tell them that her name is Anna and this is her brother J-jump and this is her momma. I think most people find it funny and they are probably wondering who names their child J-jump!?! (In case you did not know, it is a family nickname)

Jeremiah is learning a lot at school and has reached the age where he tells you like it is no matter what. We are trying to teach him tact but sometimes it doesnt work. The most recent example was at the store where a mother in line was telling her child that he needed to stay near her cart rather then running all around.
Jeremiah : "Why isnt he listening to you?"
Mother: "Oh, he is only 2."
Jeremiah: "My sister is only 2 and she listens"
Mother: "Oh well he just turned 2"
The best example was tonight. Jeremiah is eating his salad and then looks at Brian and I and says, "My teacher does a much better job of making sure the salad has Ranch on every part."

Enjoy the pics!

Celebrating Poppa's birthday!

Enjoying a leaf fight. I am pretty sure that the kids won this one.

Annalise mid run in our backyard. She usually will not wear a hat but I think the temperature was a little too cold for her.

The kids really did not want to take a picture. I definitely got the "mom I want to play not take pictures" look from Annalise.

Jeremiah checking out the snow and probably wondering if there is enough snow to build an igloo.
